Automated WooCommerce to Zoho CRM Sync
60% time saved, zero manual errors, faster sales processing
Challenge
The sales team lived in Zoho CRM, but orders and quote requests came in through WooCommerce. Someone had to re-enter each one by hand, which meant slow follow-ups, typos in prices and quantities, and records that didn't match between the two systems. As volume grew, the manual step became the bottleneck in the whole sales process.
Solution
I built a real-time integration between WooCommerce and Zoho CRM that syncs both orders and quotes. It extended the same custom quote system I had built earlier for variable-product quotes, so quote logic lived in one place instead of being duplicated.

How it works
Every order or quote event pushes to Zoho the moment it happens, not on a batch schedule. The sync runs in the background so customers never wait on Zoho's API. Records are upserted, updating existing Contacts rather than duplicating them. Every sync is logged, so the team can see exactly what was sent and when.
What made the difference
Syncing on events rather than nightly batches meant the two systems never drifted apart. Building on the existing quote plugin, rather than beside it, kept the logic maintainable. Read the full technical write-up.
